Lung Cancer Treatment Update

New Haven, Conn.—Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Cancer Center will present a free health talk entitled, “Lung Cancer Treatment Update” on Wednesday, May 13th  in Yale-New Haven Hospital's East Pavilion cafeteria.

The lecture is part of the ongoing Understanding Cancer Lecture Series for patients and families living with cancer. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m.; the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Frank Detterbeck, MD, Professor of Surgical Oncology and co-Director of the Yale Cancer Center Thoracic Oncology Program, and Roy Decker, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Therapeutic Radiology, will review the newest treatment options for patients with lung cancer.  At the end of the presentation, guests will have time to ask Drs. Detterbeck and Decker questions.
