Breast Cancer Treatment Update

New Haven, Conn. — Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Cancer Center will present a free health talk entitled, “Breast Cancer Treatment Update” on Wednesday, January 14th in Yale-New Haven Hospital's East Pavilion cafeteria.
The lecture is part of the ongoing Understanding Cancer Lecture Series for patients and families living with cancer. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m.; the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Maysa Abu-Khalaf, MD, Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology, Carla Christy, MD, Surgical Instructor, and Joanne Weidhaas, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Therapeutic Radiology will review the newest treatment options for women with breast cancer. At the end of the presentation, guests will have time to ask Drs. Abu-Khalaf, Christy, and Weidhaas questions.
