On a normal day, Marion Miller's job as Administrative Assistant for Yale Cancer Center exposes her to many different departments, and various tasks throughout the Center. Recently, however, her role has required the coordination of tasks remotely, and also in the office. Marion is serving as a crucial lifeline for faculty and staff, spending a few hours a week onsite organizing and distributing incoming mail and other urgent deliveries, in addition to assisting with other mission critical projects that have come up.
"My job focuses on people and projects, which are important to them. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this is especially true. There are tasks that need to be taken care of in the office, and I am happy to help in any way I can," said Marion.

In the 20 years that Marion has spent with Yale Cancer Center, she has always gone above and beyond for everyone, and that has never been more evident than now. Her supervisor, Anna Raso, Administrative Services Supervisor at Yale Cancer Center, commented, "Marion is always willing to help, guide, or coordinate any task assigned to her. Her experience and extensive contacts across the University make her an invaluable resource we all know we can depend on. Her efforts over the past few weeks have been nothing short of remarkable. Marion is the definition of a team player and we are so fortunate to have her on ours!"
