The Smilow Head & Neck Cancers Multidisciplinary Clinic at the Park Avenue Medical Center enables patients to meet with multiple, highly-skilled Smilow Cancer Hospital specialists in a single appointment, including a head and neck surgeon, radiation oncologist, medical oncologist, physical and speech therapists, nutritionists, advanced practice nurses, and social workers. With the coordination of a dedicated nurse and navigator, this team approach provides newly diagnosed patients with a carefully determined treatment plan focused on providing the most comprehensive, effective care possible. Clinical trials are available to patients through Yale Cancer Center, Connecticut’s only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center.
