Lynn Tanoue is president-elect of the medical board at Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH), the governing body for the hospital's medical staff. She is a professor of medicine at the School of Medicine and vice chair for clinical affairs in internal medicine. She is director of the Winchester Chest Clinic at YNHH, co-director of the Yale Cancer Center Thoracic Oncology Program, and director of the Yale Lung Screening and Nodule Program.
