Dr. Susan Baserga is the newest ASBMB 2023 Fellow.
As an ASBMB member, she is receiving this recognition due to “their meritorious efforts to advance the molecular life sciences through sustained outstanding accomplishments in scientific research, education, mentorship, commitment to diversity, and service to society and the scientific community”.
Additionally to this honor, Sr. Baserga chairs the ASBMB’s Women in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Committee and is a Public Affairs Advisory Committee member. She received the society’s William C. Rose Award in 2016.
