Yale ObGyn at ASRM 2025 - In Photos

Several Yale ObGyn faculty and researchers presented at the 2025 annual meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).

Emre Seli, MD, received 2nd place in the Best Poster Award for his work "Impact of Progesterone Elevation on IVF Outcome." He was also a finalist in the Best Oral Award for his presentation on the "Use of Zoa Binding for Sperm Selection for ICSI."

Also, REI Fellow, Michelle Volovsky, MD, received the ASRM Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI) Fellow's Young Investigator Research Award for "The Role of Environmental Pollutants on Fertility."

Members of Reshef Tal, MD, PhD's lab, presented some of their latest work at the conference, as well.

Sydney Bell, postgraduate associate, gave an oral presentation titled, "Estradiol Promotes TGFb1-driven Fibrosis in Human Endometrial Stromal Fibroblasts Mediated via the Smad3/TGFbR1 Canonical Pathway."

Maria Chavez Rivera, MD, postdoctoral fellow, gave her poster presentation on “A Novel Mouse Model of Uterine Injury Highlights Temporal Susceptibility to Develop Fibrosis in the Postpartum Period Uncovering New Mechanistic Insights into Pathogenesis of Intrauterine Adhesions.”
