On March 22, 2024, members of the Hematology Program at Smilow Cancer Hospital gathered at Anthony’s Oceanview in New Haven, CT, to share information presented at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting in December 2023. The ASH Annual Meeting provides the latest hematology advances and research to the global hematology community. This meeting discussed the development and outcomes of clinical research trials, cellular therapies, and transplant options for hematological malignancies, described the current treatment options and updates in various lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia, and myeloid malignancies, and reviewed updates in classical hematology, including bleeding disorders and thrombosis.

Stephanie Halene, MD, Dr Med, Arthur H and Isabel Bunker Professor of Medicine (Hematology) and Professor of Pathology, Chief, Section of Hematology, and Chief, Translational Hematology gave the keynote address at the Post ASH Review titled, "Understanding and Harnessing RNA Biology in Myeloid Malignancies."
