Zeng receives travel award for SNMMI

We are happy to share that Tianyi Zeng, Ph.D., Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, has received a travel award from the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). Zeng's research, titled “Evaluation of Motion Correction Methods in Ultra-High Performance Brain PET: A Multi-Tracer Human Study,” has been selected for presentation at the Young Investigator Award Session during the SNMMI 2025 Annual Meeting. This event will take place from June 21–24 in New Orleans.

This research, conducted under the guidance of Professors Richard E. Carson and Thibault Marin and in collaboration with United Imaging Healthcare America, delves into the advanced methods of motion correction in brain PET scans, showcasing significant improvements in imaging accuracy and performance.
