Biography
James Rosoff grew up in New Rochelle, NY and attended Yale University, earning his undergraduate degree in 1997. He then went on to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer, teaching science for two years in the West African country of Benin. After the Peace Corps, he worked for three years as a science teacher in Boston.
James then attended medical school at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, earning his medical degree in 2006. He stayed at Cornell for his residency training, which he completed in 2012. From there, James went to Charleston for a fellowship in Urologic Oncology. He joined the Yale Department of Urology in July 2013 and is now based primarily in Greenwich.
Dr. Rosoff's clinical focus is on the management of urologic cancers and minimally invasive surgery. His other interests include the treatment of male infertility, kidney stone disease, and voiding dysfunction. His research interests include prostate cancer imaging, genetics of kidney cancer, treatment of male infertility, evaluation of minimally invasive surgical techniques as well as urologic illness in the global health arena.
