Biography

Claire Healy is one of the Co-Manager Genetic Counselors for the Smilow Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program. She graduated from the genetic counseling program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and previously worked as a genetic counselor at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute until joining the Smilow Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program. Claire provides outreach coordination for cancer genetics services through Lawrence + Memorial and St. Francis Hospital. She sees patients in the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center in Waterford. Claire is dedicated to ensuring all patients receive an exemplary genetic counseling experience and works to ensure that all patients have access to genetic counseling services despite their geographic location or socioeconomic status. She enjoys the collaborative and interdisciplinary team at Yale and is proud of the care patients receive in the program.
