Please join us on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. via Zoom, when Eric P. Winer, MD ‘83, will present "Yale Cancer Center and Smilow Cancer Hospital: Present and Future (and some preliminary thoughts about evolution).”

After receiving his MD from YSM, Dr. Winer completed his training in internal medicine and served as chief resident at Yale New Haven Hospital. He subsequently was a fellow in hematology-oncology at Duke University Medical Center, and from 1989 to 1997 served on the Duke faculty, where he was co-director of the multidisciplinary breast program. He is currently director of the Breast Oncology Center and Thompson Chair of breast cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.
