Guided Imagery and Massage-Chakra Grounding

  • 00:02Thank you so much for joining
  • 00:05today or guided imagery,
  • 00:07meditation and Self Massage.
  • 00:09So today we're going to
  • 00:12follow up on our last program,
  • 00:15which was wiki session and today's
  • 00:18meditation is gonna be a shocker.
  • 00:21Healing guided meditation.
  • 00:22Um again I'm gonna show Grand.
  • 00:25I'm licensed,
  • 00:26massage therapist at camp at smile,
  • 00:29cancer hospital and um, thank you for
  • 00:32joining and we're going to begin now.
  • 00:35So allow your eyes to comfortably close.
  • 00:39And come down into your breath.
  • 00:42Into your body.
  • 00:45Relaxing your belly.
  • 00:47And softening your mind.
  • 00:52Feel the support beneath you and
  • 00:56connect with the ground below.
  • 00:59Let it take your weight.
  • 01:05Become aware of the sounds
  • 01:07around you and let them be there.
  • 01:13Notice the light and shade. The air
  • 01:18touching the surface of your body.
  • 01:23Since the Sky above. Anna Horizons
  • 01:27stretching all the way around you.
  • 01:33The Earth below supporting you.
  • 01:38Allow your mind to empty.
  • 01:40Would it no longer needs to hold
  • 01:43on to let it go? Flow out an away.
  • 01:48Allow your body to release what it no
  • 01:53longer needs to hold on to let it go.
  • 01:57Flow out and away.
  • 02:02Dry yourself back from where
  • 02:04you've been in your day.
  • 02:06Draw your energies back home to your center.
  • 02:11Ground yourself in this moment here.
  • 02:17Begin to sense the space around you.
  • 02:21Breathe with the space and become aware
  • 02:24of the rise and fall of your breath.
  • 02:28It's coming and going.
  • 02:31The sensation, sound and temperature.
  • 02:34Please down to where the
  • 02:37weight of your body less.
  • 02:40Below the base of your spine to your route.
  • 02:45Your shacra of belonging.
  • 02:49Please into your route.
  • 02:52Let it soften and gently
  • 02:55expand on your breath.
  • 02:57Taking in nourishment and
  • 03:00the life force energy.
  • 03:03Allow your route to connect down down
  • 03:08to ground below deep into the Earth.
  • 03:12An invite in the color red.
  • 03:17The color of the Earth.
  • 03:19The easier route with red it's empowering
  • 03:25and bodying grounding you in here and now.
  • 03:30Let your route take what it needs.
  • 03:34And say the words I am here.
  • 03:39I have a right to be here as I am.
  • 03:44The Earth supports me.
  • 03:48And when you're ready,
  • 03:50allow your awareness to move up to
  • 03:54your belly just below your navel,
  • 03:58to your hara, your shacra of
  • 04:01emotional intelligence choice.
  • 04:03Creativity, movement and pleasure.
  • 04:08Breathe into your heart and let it
  • 04:12gently soften and expand on your breath.
  • 04:16Taking in nourishment and life force energy.
  • 04:21Invite in Orange the color
  • 04:25of the setting sun.
  • 04:28Even your horror with orange balancing,
  • 04:33empowering and motivating.
  • 04:35Let your heart be fed and say
  • 04:39the words I honor my needs.
  • 04:42I allow myself to be nourished.
  • 04:51And when you're ready,
  • 04:53move your awareness up to the soft area
  • 04:57below your breastbone to your solar plexus.
  • 05:00Your shacra a personal power.
  • 05:03Breathe into here.
  • 05:05Allowing your solar plexus to
  • 05:08soften an expand on your breath.
  • 05:12An invite in the color yellow.
  • 05:15The colour of sunshine.
  • 05:17Babe your solar plexus with
  • 05:20sunshine replenishing,
  • 05:22restoring, nurturing,
  • 05:24letting your solar plexus take what it needs.
  • 05:29As you say, the words I value myself.
  • 05:34I am enough.
  • 05:37I am more than enough.
  • 05:40I am worth my weight in gold.
  • 05:51And when you're ready,
  • 05:53bring your awareness up to
  • 05:55the center of your chest.
  • 05:57To your heart, your shacra of self
  • 06:01development and unconditional love.
  • 06:03Gently breathe into your heart.
  • 06:07Letting it's often an expand on your breath.
  • 06:12An invite in green.
  • 06:15The color of spring.
  • 06:19Babe your heart center with
  • 06:24nourishment renewal healing.
  • 06:26Let your heart take what it needs
  • 06:30and say the words I am greatly loved.
  • 06:34I allow myself to give
  • 06:37and receive love freely.
  • 06:39I am nourished by the power of love.
  • 06:48In your own time, move up to your
  • 06:51neck to your throat, your shacra of
  • 06:55self expression and personal will.
  • 06:57Allow your throat center to soften,
  • 07:02expand, and breathe, inviting in blue.
  • 07:07The color of Sky.
  • 07:10Breathe Sky into your throat chacra.
  • 07:15Clearing, opening,
  • 07:17softening the need for control.
  • 07:22Freeing self expression and creativity.
  • 07:27Let your throat take what it needs and
  • 07:31say the words I hear and speak my truth.
  • 07:36I express myself freely.
  • 07:38I allow myself to go with the flow of life.
  • 07:45And when you're ready,
  • 07:48take your focus to your forehead between
  • 07:52your between your eyebrows to your third eye.
  • 07:58Your shacra of wisdom, an intuition.
  • 08:03Gently allowing it to soften.
  • 08:06Expand an breathe. Inviting in indigo,
  • 08:11the Velvet Velvet E color of night Sky.
  • 08:17Behavior third eye with indigo.
  • 08:21Soothing?
  • 08:22Balancing bringing clarity,
  • 08:25insight and understanding.
  • 08:29Let your third eye take what it
  • 08:32needs and say the words everything
  • 08:34is unfolding as it should.
  • 08:43And moving up in your own time to
  • 08:46the top of your head to your Crown,
  • 08:49your shacra of Oneness,
  • 08:50allowing your Crown to breathe.
  • 08:55Gently invite in pure white light.
  • 09:00Softly bathing your Crown.
  • 09:02Balancing, restoring and harmonizing.
  • 09:06Lay your cloud, take what
  • 09:08it needs and say the words.
  • 09:11I am one with the universe.
  • 09:14I am one with the world.
  • 09:21I am one with the whole.
  • 09:25And when you're ready.
  • 09:30Come back to yourself as a whole back
  • 09:34to the ebb and flow of your breath.
  • 09:38Back to your center.
  • 09:40Breathe into your core and
  • 09:44say the words. I am whole.
  • 09:47I am perfect, just as I am.
  • 09:53And allow the energy of the words
  • 09:56to be their body, mind, emotions
  • 09:59and spirit and take what it needs.
  • 10:08An in your own time, become aware of
  • 10:11the air on the surface of your body.
  • 10:15This sounds around you
  • 10:18near and in the distance.
  • 10:21Close your Shockers down a little.
  • 10:25Just having the intention is enough.
  • 10:28Become aware of the support beneath
  • 10:32you and notice how you feel.
  • 10:36Hold yourself with loving
  • 10:38kindness for the beautiful,
  • 10:41unique being that you are.
  • 10:49And when you're ready.
  • 10:54Take a deep breath in. Then hold.
  • 11:01And Exhale. And one more depressing.
  • 11:09And hold. And Exhale.
  • 11:16And when you're ready, you can draw
  • 11:20this meditation to a close for you.
  • 11:27You can open your eyes.
  • 11:31And stretch your arms out left
  • 11:33and right as far as you can.
  • 11:39An arms overhead with a deep breath in.
  • 11:43And Exhale into prayer pose.
  • 11:49An open your eyes.
  • 11:51And you did a beautiful job.
  • 11:55Sometimes it's not easy to just
  • 11:57ground and go inside of yourself and
  • 11:59just kind of opened things up and
  • 12:01just remember how important you are.
  • 12:03So thank you for taking the time to do that.
  • 12:07For our self massage today,
  • 12:09I know we've gone through much of the body,
  • 12:12but we're just going to spend a little time
  • 12:16since we've worked the Shockers this week.
  • 12:19It's sort of folk.
  • 12:20We've been focusing on this
  • 12:22center front of the body.
  • 12:24I think we're just going to go to our
  • 12:27abdomen today and we're going to do
  • 12:30a little bit of abdominal massage.
  • 12:32It's just a very light and a very gentle,
  • 12:36noninvasive type of massage.
  • 12:37We could often have issues when were
  • 12:39maybe under some stress with digestion.
  • 12:42Uhm, and this could just help to open
  • 12:45things up an relax them a little bit.
  • 12:49Um, what we're gonna do to begin is
  • 12:51there are actually two acupressure
  • 12:53points that I'm just gonna move
  • 12:55my screen down so you could see a
  • 12:58little better my abdominal area.
  • 13:00We have the conception vessel
  • 13:026 and a conception vessel, 12.
  • 13:04So we're just going to start our
  • 13:06download massage with a couple
  • 13:08of acupressure point holes.
  • 13:10So if you just take your fingers
  • 13:12and you know those two soon or two
  • 13:15finger widths below your belly button,
  • 13:17you gonna find comes.
  • 13:20Conception vessel sex.
  • 13:21So this is going to be very light pressure.
  • 13:24You gonna take your index finger or your
  • 13:27index finger on your middle finger,
  • 13:29whatever you prefer.
  • 13:31And you had just crashed.
  • 13:33An holds press in a little bit.
  • 13:37And holds.
  • 13:41Very important to breathe,
  • 13:43as you're doing this.
  • 13:49Deep breaths in and out as you pressed
  • 13:52on this acupressure point, it's just
  • 13:55a really good release for digestion.
  • 14:02Little circles are fine, which is
  • 14:06press and hold. As you breathe.
  • 14:14Excellent. We're going
  • 14:18to move up to conception vessel 12,
  • 14:20which is halfway between the
  • 14:22belly button and their web page.
  • 14:24So the base of the rib cage
  • 14:26and a top of the belly button.
  • 14:29And we're just going to go halfway right.
  • 14:32There could use 1 two,
  • 14:33even three fingers right here.
  • 14:36Right in the middle.
  • 14:39And again, we're just going to gently
  • 14:42press in very gentle pressure in an holes.
  • 14:46Or president in very small circles
  • 14:49around and you're gonna do your circles.
  • 14:51You want to always do them in
  • 14:55a clockwise motion. Around.
  • 15:00And continue the breath.
  • 15:02Deep breaths in and out as
  • 15:04you work the point.
  • 15:10Around or just press and hold.
  • 15:17Good.
  • 15:21At this point you may start to feel release.
  • 15:23You may even feel your shoulders
  • 15:25to start to drop and your sits
  • 15:27bone sort of ground a little bit.
  • 15:29Could you just kind of releasing
  • 15:32the whole abdomen abdominal area?
  • 15:37Good, excellent.
  • 15:38Now we're going to move on to a
  • 15:41little gentle abdomino massage.
  • 15:43So again, we're going to
  • 15:45work in a clockwise motion,
  • 15:47always in a clockwise motion.
  • 15:49So we're going to start right
  • 15:51here in the lower quadrant.
  • 15:53The lower quadrant here,
  • 15:55and we're going to be making basically a box.
  • 15:59The Box is going to go up to
  • 16:02the base of your rib cage.
  • 16:05Right below the rib cage or cross.
  • 16:10Down. Add across again,
  • 16:13that's the movement that
  • 16:15we're going to be doing.
  • 16:17Uh, and breathe a cross.
  • 16:21Down and across now you could do this
  • 16:25in your own way at your own pace.
  • 16:29A little bit of pressure,
  • 16:31not too much pressure.
  • 16:33But just make sure that as you're doing this,
  • 16:37you're relaxing.
  • 16:38So that's going to involve
  • 16:41continuing your breath.
  • 16:43And you're going to form a
  • 16:46flow for yourself however you
  • 16:48want to alternate your hands.
  • 16:51And just keep that flow and
  • 16:54that motion going.
  • 16:55So I'm going to be quiet for a
  • 16:58minute or so because I want you to
  • 17:00sort of get into your own flow.
  • 17:03And keep it
  • 17:04going with your breath.
  • 17:51seconds. Just keep up flow going.
  • 17:55And keep the breath moving.
  • 18:08don't we do one more
  • 18:14for clockwise motion around?
  • 18:21Had a deep breath in and when
  • 18:25you've completed that last cycle,
  • 18:28just take your hands and hold them right
  • 18:32on your belly button and just pressing.
  • 18:37Ground your feet on the floor.
  • 18:40And take 3 deep breaths in.
  • 18:45Holden Exhale
  • 18:51And one more deep breath in.
  • 19:01An Exhale. Excellent,
  • 19:04excellent, very, very good.
  • 19:06That's not easy to do, it's a very
  • 19:09sensitive area to massage on yourself,
  • 19:11so I thank you for taking the time to
  • 19:14do that and having the courage you know
  • 19:17to experience that sort of massage.
  • 19:20Again, this is something that you can
  • 19:22always do at home when you feel the need
  • 19:26to so you feeling it in your belly.
  • 19:28Your kind of holding your stress.
  • 19:31It's just a nice way to do
  • 19:33that and relax an it does.
  • 19:35It could help with digestion as well.
  • 19:39OK, so thank you all again for
