- 00:00Hi I am Doctor Terra Samt I'm the
- 00:03director of the survivorship clinic
- 00:04and I just wanted to say thank you
- 00:08to all the patients out there and all
- 00:10the survivors who come through our
- 00:12clinic and even those who haven't.
- 00:14I'm very grateful to be working
- 00:17with cancer survivors every day.
- 00:19I feel inspired and motivated
- 00:23and I get so much
- 00:24strength from hearing all of your stories.
- 00:26So thanks for sharing with us. Jevon
- 00:31hi everyone, I'm Devin.
- 00:33I'm the physician assistant
- 00:35with the Yale Survivorship Clinic and
- 00:36I'm here with the rest of my team and
- 00:39I'm wanting to say a few words on why
- 00:41I'm thankful for all our survivors and
- 00:43for me it comes down to inspiration.
- 00:47An hearing about the resilience
- 00:50that all of you have and everything
- 00:54you do coming with us along this
- 00:57path and us being able to have the
- 01:00privilege to be apart of it with you.
- 01:02Whether it's just going to routine followups,
- 01:05imaging and labs, or.
- 01:08You know, coming in and having
- 01:10a meaningful conversation,
- 01:10it's truly an inspiration that
- 01:12you're also motivated to work
- 01:14on your own overall well being,
- 01:15and it's an inspiration to me
- 01:17to do the same in my own life.
- 01:19So thank you for doing that for
- 01:20me and giving me the courage
- 01:22to do that myself too.

- 01:26I am Scott composer, the physical
- 01:28therapist component of the survivorship
- 01:30clinic of I've I joined the clinic rate
- 01:33when we first started way back in 2006.
- 01:36Then I've seen the Tina clinic evolve
- 01:38over the years and our model has changed,
- 01:40but through it all one thing has
- 01:42been consistent and that's been you.
- 01:44As the survivor and infer for us as the
- 01:47providers and we would like to be able to
- 01:51create this safe space for everybody to
- 01:53be able to talk and to kind of, you know.
- 01:56Talk about what's going on,
- 01:57you know in their lives and and so we do,
- 02:01we, we feed off of your energy.
- 02:03We feed off of everything that's
- 02:05going on with you. You again,
- 02:07you know you're going to hear it a lot,
- 02:08but you you do inspire us,
- 02:10you you drive us to be better
- 02:13clinicians so that we can be better
- 02:15clinicians for you so that we can
- 02:18help you move forward through the
- 02:20balance of your life, Angela.
- 02:24Hi everybody, my name is Angela Corolla
- 02:26and I'm the clinical social worker in
- 02:29the cancer survivorship clinic and I am
- 02:31so grateful for all cancer survivors
- 02:34because working with you is not only an
- 02:36honor but it is an absolute privilege to
- 02:38be able to spend time speaking with you.
- 02:40Hearing about your cancer stories and how
- 02:43you lived your life with your account,
- 02:46cancer diagnosis and through your
- 02:48diagnosis and beyond.
- 02:49And I absolutely love my job and I love
- 02:52what I do and in working with you.
- 02:54Cancer survivors like you.
- 02:55It's not only rewarding,
- 02:57but it also provides my life with
- 02:59much purpose and meaning.
