“Our goal is to provide important cancer risk assessment and education about taking the right steps to prevent the development of cancer,” said Erin Hofstatter, MD, Co-Director of the Smilow Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program/Director of the Breast Cancer Prevention Clinic. “Having this knowledge can have a huge impact on a person’s life by allowing them to better manage their health and reduce their risk of ever developing cancer.”

“Sexual dysfunction and fertility issues after cancer are common,” said Elena Ratner, MD, Clinical Program Leader for the Gynecologic Oncology Program at Smilow Cancer Hospital. “The Smilow Cancer Hospital Sexuality, Intimacy and Menopause Program is the only clinic of its kind in the state of Connecticut designed to help women with these issues.”
