The Yale New Haven Hospital Vascular Malformations Program (VaMP), via a collaborative multidisciplinary effort, has identified somatic mosaic gene mutations (GJA4 encoding connexin 37) implicated in the pathogenesis of so-called “HEPATIC HEMANGIOMAS” in adult patients.
