Xiaolei Su, PhD, Assistant Professor of cell biology, received an award from the Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. This award supports a three-year project on designing new chimeric antigen receptors with improved anti-tumor efficacy. Su's group focuses on understanding immune receptor signaling and leveraging that knowledge to develop novel strategies for cancer immunotherapy.
